Policies & Safety
Have fun and be safe.
We want nothing more than for you to have a safe and enjoyable stay at Pyramid Life Center. To ensure you have the best experience possible, here are some additional safety-related topics to consider when staying at our rustic Adirondack camp and retreat center:

Be Mindful
Pyramid Life Center is surrounded by nearly 800-acres of Adirondack wilderness. As such, we encourage you to be mindful of your surroundings at all times. Wildlife and insects, uneven terrain, and the hot summer sun can all cause injury and potentially disrupt an otherwise-wonderful getaway.

Pack Appropriately
Please be sure to pack appropriately. Look at the weather forecast and plan for the conditions. Insect repellent and sunscreen are highly recommended, as are hats with visors, closed-toed shoes or hiking boots, and potentially a poncho or other rain gear. Also consider bringing a flashlight or headlamp – you may not be in a tent, but you will still be camping in the Adirondacks.

Bring a Friend
When hiking or boating, please consider bringing a friend, especially if you are a novice. Do not travel deep into wooded areas alone after dark. Cell phone service may not be available depending on your carrier. If you are venturing out alone, consider notifying another guest or cabin mate before you head out.

Notify Us of Medical Concerns
If you have serious medical concerns, or if you require certain mobility accommodations, please let us know ahead of your stay so that we can be responsive to your needs. We will keep your health concerns confidential. That said, we are in a rural area and EMS will have a longer response time, so please be prudent when deciding if Pyramid Life Center is the right Adirondack destination for you.

Drink Responsibly
We allow guests to bring beer, wine, and alcohol when they stay overnight in one of our cabins. However, this should go without saying: please be mindful of those around you, and please drink responsibly. Do not go swimming, hiking, or boating if you aren’t fit to operate a motor vehicle. We love the sound of laughter and merriment all around, but please keep the noise at a level that will not disturb other guests who may be sleeping, reading, praying, or meditating. Also, please be sure to dispose of any bottles or cans in the proper receptacles. We love our Adirondack wilderness and we want to keep it as clean, safe, and litter-free as possible.
