Welcome

Registration for 2024 is now open!

A Note from Neil and Courtney

For over fifty years, our Dining Hall has hosted countless meals, gatherings, conversations, and prayers as the beating heart of our beloved Center. Whether you are meeting new friends, stopping by for an early morning cup of coffee, or bidding farewell to another great summer at Pyramid, the Dining Hall has played a part of so many special moments throughout the years.

We are truly blessed to call the Dining Hall home each summer, and we take our stewardship of it very seriously. At this time, the Dining Hall needs our help. After many thousands of pairs of feet have tread countless miles across its boards, the floor is on its final legs and needs to be replaced. While it retains much of its original beauty, time has taken its toll and much of the floor is beginning to splinter and shift.

On this Giving Tuesday and throughout this holiday season, please consider donating to Pyramid Life Center’s Dining Hall floor fund. One hundred percent of your donation will go to the purchase of new materials to replace the floorboards, and keep our Dining Hall functional and safe for many generations and memories to come. All donations are tax deductible, and donors will receive a certificate recognizing your gift. Donations may be made in honor of others, for anyone looking to give the gift of PLC to their loved ones this Christmas.

We would like to thank all of our patrons, volunteers, and staff for their support throughout 2023, and we look forward to seeing you all in 2024!

Recreation

Whether I am attending a retreat or leading a retreat, Pyramid is where I go to restore my connection with the Divine and with myself. It is sacred ground. So much beauty, so much peace. I’m always looking forward to the next time I can escape for a few days and soak in God’s presence at PLC.”

Mary DeTurris Poust, Retreat Leader

For me, PLC is all about reconnecting with nature and rejuvenating myself. Pre-dawn kayaking on Pyramid Lake, photographing loons, osprey and eagles, is one of my very favorite things. I just love it.”

Steve Rock, Retreat Participant

“Staff was so inviting. It was my daughter’s first time, and everyone made sure she had what she needed. Kayaks were wonderful. Great to be able to fully relax and be away from the internet and phones.
