Welcome

Dear PLC Friends & Family,

As we move into the holiday season, we wanted to take a moment to thank all of you for your continued support and patronage of Pyramid Life Center. We are  incredibly thankful for our volunteers and dedicated staff who continue to make each season successful!

We are already gearing up for another busy summer season with returning programs as well as some new retreats planned. In the off season we are turning to the various camp maintenance projects that are needed to continue to provide you all with a meaningful, memorable, and safe experience while at camp. Our big project for the 2026 season will be replacing the dining hall septic system. The dining hall has served as the main hub for camp since its inception and its years of community, fellowship, and dining have started to take its toll. To put it in perspective, throughout each season of camp we serve an average of 15,000 meals from the dining hall!  This holiday season if you are able to donate to PLC, know that 100% of your donation will go toward the cost of our new plumbing!

Willing to donate your time and talents? In addition to donations for our septic system repair we are looking for volunteers to help with various tasks throughout the camp season. Some of these tasks include carpentry, electrical, plumbing, cooking and clearing, as well as delivery of goods to camp from the capital district area. If you are interested in volunteering with us please complete the attached survey and our volunteer coordinator, Ellen, will be in touch with you shortly.

If you are interested in donating monetarily, we continue to accept donations in all of our usual ways. Checks can be made out to Pyramid Life Center and mailed to us at 1 Pyramid Road, Paradox, NY 12858

Thank you again for supporting our Center and our mission, we’ll see you in 2026!

Whether I am attending a retreat or leading a retreat, Pyramid is where I go to restore my connection with the Divine and with myself. It is sacred ground. So much beauty, so much peace. I’m always looking forward to the next time I can escape for a few days and soak in God’s presence at PLC.”

Mary DeTurris Poust, Retreat Leader

For me, PLC is all about reconnecting with nature and rejuvenating myself. Pre-dawn kayaking on Pyramid Lake, photographing loons, osprey and eagles, is one of my very favorite things. I just love it.”

Steve Rock, Retreat Participant

“Staff was so inviting. It was my daughter’s first time, and everyone made sure she had what she needed. Kayaks were wonderful. Great to be able to fully relax and be away from the internet and phones.
